Youth Care Worker

Staffing safe, stable residential homes for youth and young adults who are in the custody of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services is paramount to the purpose of our organization. This allows youth to live more independently, and we need YOUR help!

Key Assets Kentucky is looking for caring, dependable individuals to join our team as Youth Care Workers. This role provides direct supervision and support to youth in our therapeutic group homes, helping them build life skills, achieve goals, and feel safe and valued.

Full-time and part-time (must be able to work nights and weekends)

Responsible To

Operations Manager

What You’ll Do

  • Provide daily care, supervision, and structure for youth in a group home setting
  • Build positive, therapeutic relationships with youth and model appropriate behavior
  • Support youth in areas like hygiene, chores, emotional regulation, and social interaction
  • Participate in team meetings and trainings to ensure consistent, trauma-informed care
  • Accurately document daily activities and progress

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication, reliability, and problem-solving skills
  • Compassion for youth and commitment to providing a safe, supportive environment
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience preferred
