Our Approach

Key Assets believes a team approach is the key to achieving the best outcomes for at risk and vulnerable children and young people.

Key Care Team™ Model

At its core, a Key Care Team ensures all the players work collaboratively, with the pieces fitting together to form the whole picture. When the Key Care Team works together in collaboration, the services and interventions are more comprehensive than if provided by a single individual.

Within Key Assets, our Residential Therapist is the key to holding the puzzle together and ensuring all pieces connect and work for the best interests of the client and their family.

The Key Care Team is made up of the necessary and important services, support, and people who work collaboratively to create a nurturing, caring, and therapeutic environment to achieve safety, stability, and well-being for the client. The Key Care Team model is rooted in the Key Assets strength-based therapeutic approach centering on the needs of the child, young person, and family.

Accreditation

The Importance of Accreditation – Why We Partner with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities!

Every three years, Key Assets welcomes CARF (The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) into our group homes and offices to ensure we provide high-quality services by our residential and community-based outpatient therapy services team members.

CARF’s mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process and continuous improvement services that center on enhancing the lives of persons served.

So, why CARF and why accreditation?

As a licensed Private Child Caring and Behavioral Health Services Organization, we are required to be accredited. It is our choice as to the agency we choose to partner with in this ongoing process.

Consumers face a variety of options when deciding what services to use and who should provide them. Accreditation is a sign of quality and is an essential consideration in their decision-making.

CARF International has surveyed hundreds of thousands of programs worldwide since it was founded as an independent, nonprofit accreditor in 1966.

One primary advantage is the consultative approach of CARF surveyors.

The value of accreditation goes beyond a competitive distinction for service providers and a framework for continuous quality improvement. CARF offers a wide variety of value-added benefits and several unique advantages to help providers receive the greatest return for their accreditation investment. We know that we will be surveyed by professionals working in the areas we are seeking accreditation. We are upfront about the areas in which we need to improve, and CARF can provide expert advice on ways to achieve success in those areas.
